Raven Cottage is a delightful 17th century cottage in the picturesque and peaceful village of Queen Camel, near Yeovil. Raven Cottage sleeps 5-6. It has front and back gardens with lawns and mixed flower borders, with ample space for car parking.
Raven Cottage is a characterful cottage in a rural village with great access to many top attractions and public footpaths. Within easy driving distance to Sherborne, Yeovil, Frome, Bath, Glastonbury, Street Shopping Village and the great Jurassic Coast. Set within a Meditation and Retreat Centre, it is ideal for a relaxing stay.
Ideal for holiday accommodation, or those seeking a quiet retreat or short break, Raven Cottage has two twin bedrooms, a single bedroom and a bathroom on the first floor, a kitchen, toilet and shower room, sitting room including sofa bed and two recliners, and a dining room on the ground floor and its own enclosed gardens with patio and garden chairs. It is equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer, washing machine/tumble dryer, iron, hairdryer, radio and CD player, DVD facilities (we are still awaiting connection for TV).
While here make the most of your location by enjoying easy walks within the 3½ acre gardens of the Open Pathway Retreat Centre, with its ponds and wildlife garden. Perhaps you’d like to use the two meditation rooms or join us for classes in Yoga or Meditation Foundation. Appointments for Natural Energy Therapy or Progressive Counselling/Coaching can also be arranged. The Centre has ‘still & quiet time’ from 12.45pm-1pm each day, and you are welcome to join us for evening and morning meditations if you wish.
Raven Cottage is available from 3.00pm on your day of arrival and we ask guests to vacate the Cottage by 10.00am on the day of departure. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels, tea towels and washing up liquid are all provided. Barbecues, loud music and parties are not permitted.
Please note, under-18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
