Life today brings huge challenges, economic, social, relationship and psychological and so many of us are looking for ways to stay steady in the face of never ending and rapid change. A meditation practice can help us develop that inner peacefulness and personal mastery needed to live well in uncertain times.
The Kriya Meditation Centre UK is based at Open Pathway to Peace where we offer an advanced meditation practice for people of 16 years upwards, of all backgrounds, beliefs and experience.
At the Kriya Meditation Centre we have been teaching Kriya yoga Meditation to students for thirty five years. More than one thousand students have joined us to learn this deep practice and returned regularly for practice refreshments and updates.
Kriya Yoga Meditation is an ancient practice created to support the development of the whole being: mind, body and spirit. It will enable you to deepen your patience, intuition, concentration, unconditional love and joy and help you to develop your inner peace. With focused, sustained practice you will become more dynamic, discerning and have increasing personal mastery over all aspects of your life.
The word ‘Kriya’ simply means ‘to do’ the practice with focus and self-love and our Kriya Yoga Meditation training incorporates many different forms of Kriya practice including meditation techniques and breathing exercises to support you in your daily life ~ whilst these have been tried and tested over aeons, they are perfect for our needs today.
Centering Prayer originates from the Desert Mothers and Fathers in the 3rd Century. They withdrew from everyday life to discover the meaning of life and death. This training has evolved to be used by both advanced meditators and beginners, and is now used from spiritual and secular perspectives. It is simple yet profound.
Taught by highly experienced Teachers, our training will give you the time and space to learn, assimilate and release old negative conditioning and fears which you may have, so that you emerge more truly yourself and ready for the challenges and adventure of the present and the future.

As our meditation practice deepens over time, our ability to use our intuition develops, playing an important part in our ability to understand the complexities of the world around us and take the right action in every situation ~ life becomes more enjoyable, more fun.
Making decisions becomes more straightforward ~ no more sitting on the fence and missing our chances. We can engage fully with life instead.
Kriya Yoga and Centering Prayer Meditation training will answer many questions ~ questions that have perhaps remained unanswered within your mind for a long time, not just on purely spiritual matters but on how to live a healthy life, eating, attitudes to living, sexual matters, partnerships, purpose in life, work, leisure, friendships and other relationships.
It will also cover the meaning of life and death, world crises, our place in the world and how we can contribute to peace, not only within ourselves but around us and in the world.
This combination of spirituality, science and down to earth knowledge is for those who desire an advanced meditation that gives the depth and fullness to help them forward into a more joyful, peaceful and loving life.

How to take the Kriya Yoga and Centering Prayer Meditation training?
In our experience, joining us at Open Pathway to Peace for the training will give you a great opportunity to relax, release and let go along with other like-minded people whilst learning and assimilating the Meditation practices.
Our food is vegetarian/vegan and lovingly cooked in our kitchen ~ we will cater for any special diets as you require.
There are over three acres of gardens to enjoy, and the bedrooms are cosy and comfortable. There is a heated indoor swimming pool and log fires in winter. There are many country walks from our grounds and you can take a Yoga or Bones for Life class whilst you are with us if you wish.
This course can be taken over five days, or over two weekends. Please ask to speak to a Teacher about what would suit you best.
For those who are unable to attend Open Pathway, the course can also be taken online.
