With more people needing the Charity’s help we are spread a bit ‘thin on the ground’ financially and physically. Whilst we try to save by doing as much of the maintenance ourselves, with the help of a willing team of seva volunteers, it is difficult to keep up with what needs repairing and replacing, particularly in a 17th century house. Just recently we have had to have electronic alarms fitted, a repair to the roof (fortunately the buckets were out of sight!), the window frames need replacing and an ancient water supply pipe was leaking underground! If you can help us at all, we would so appreciate it.
